Mark Pollack

I'm a lifelong builder—strategies, teams, ideas that refuse to stay quiet. Decades of leading, showing up when it matters most. On paper: wins, growth, boardroom results. Reality: a guy with an amazing childhood marked by moments that cracked me open. Joy taught me to dream big. Hard parts taught me to get back up.

This podcast stops pretending personal and professional are different people. It's strategy sessions meets therapy couch meets late-night honest conversations. Stories connecting dots you didn't see. Bourbon reflections and belly laughs. Real talk about who we were, are, and becoming.

Life's messier than we admit, more beautiful than we remember. Sometimes you need to talk it out, listen deeply, stay courageously real. Welcome to the stall.

Phyllis Martin

Leading with heart. Speaking with fire. Living with purpose.

I’m a truth-teller, nonprofit leader, and lifelong overthinker learning to simplify. For 30+ years, I’ve chased impact, connection, and meaning—sometimes complicating things out of fear, perfectionism, or not seeing myself clearly. The journey? Untangling all of that. Letting go. Trusting more. Simplifying on purpose.

This podcast is part of that journey. It’s messy, honest, hilarious, and real—just like life. Expect “Phyllis-isms,” unexpected truths, and a whole lot of overthinking life’s sh!t… in search of what actually matters.

Let’s do this.
